#14 Hunter Hall |
Position: Quarterback Previous College: None Projection: Scout Team Status: Walk-On |
Hunter Lee Hall (b. April 19, 1997) is a walk-on quarterback from Clearwater High School who redshirted in 2015.
He played under head coach Dirk Ankerholz at Clearwater, where he helped the Indians to a regional runner-up finish, earned all-conference honors, and also played two years of baseball, four of basketball and two of track.
After missing the playoffs in 2012, Hall led the Indians to a 4-2 record heading into district play and had them poised to break into the postseason. But alas, he fractured his right fibula in the seventh game of the season.
After Hall's injury, Clearwater lost two of its last three games and the team's playoff dreams were dashed.
Hall is an impressive athlete and has quite an arm. He was one of just four Kansas athletes to break 200 feet in the javelin last year, throwing for 200-5 at the Holcomb Class 4A Regional. He provides need depth at quarterback.
