Status: Walk-On

Tevin B. Geddis (b. April 5, 1994) is a walk-on defensive back who transferred to K-State this spring from Washburn.

He started at cornerback for the White team in the spring game, collecting three solo tackles and two pass breakups. Keep in mind, though, that Cre Moore, Sean Newlan and Donnie Starks all were held out of that game.

Geddis played under head coach Weston Schartz at Wichita High School Northwest, where he earned All-City League honors as a senior in 2011. He totaled 102 tackles and 13 passes defended during his final two years.

He also returned six punts for a 15.2-yard average as a senior, and participated in track and field.

Geddis played at Washburn University from 2012 to 2014 under head coach Craig Schurig. He redshirted the 2012 season, did not see any game action as a redshirt freshman in 2013 and apparently sat out last season as a junior.

He played in eight games as a sophomore in 2014, recording nine tackles and a forced fumble. He also had a season-high two stops against Nebraska-Kearney, Missouri Southern, Fort Hays State and Central Oklahoma.
