43 DAYS TO 2016 KICKOFF: Drew Scott

In which BracketCat counts down the 43rd day until the 2016 kickoff with a profile of long snapper Drew Scott.

No offense to today's profiled long snapper, but this guy always will be K-State's true No. 43 to me.

Andrew Patrick "Drew" Scott (b. March 12, 1995) is a walk-on long snapper who has played in five career games.

After redshirting in 2013, Scott appeared in four games in 2014, serving as the primary long snapper for a majority of the first three contests. He also snapped against West Virginia in 2014 and against South Dakota in 2015.

Scott prepped under head coach Duane Schulte at Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he successfully connected on 67 of 67 snaps during the course of his junior and senior seasons.

He received a five-star rating at Kohl's Longsnapping Camp prior to his senior year. Scott helped the Saints to a 14-1 record and a Class 4A runner-up finish in 2012. He also played basketball for two years and baseball for four.
