Jordon Robertson |
Position: Defensive Tackle Previous College: None Projection: Redshirt Status: On Scholarship |
Jordon Elijah Robertson (b. Aug. 4, 1998) is a high school defensive tackle signee who is likely to redshirt in 2016 so he can put on 30 to 50 pounds. He is a talented prospect, but if he can't add weight, he may be a defensive end.
Robertson played under head coach Michael Johnson at Bishop Dunne High School, where he helped the Falcons to earn a 12-1 record in both his junior and senior seasons, including the 2014 campaign, when Bishop Dunne won the state championship. Robertson was rated the 85th-best defensive tackle in the class of 2016 by ESPN.
He was named a second-team Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools All-State defensive lineman and a first-team all-district performer. He also was named to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Super Team as a senior.
