College Football TV Schedule for Friday, September 4

Oh, you thought you'd get a day off? Silly fans.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Last night was fun, wasn't it? We had UTSA scaring Arizona for the second year in a row, Utah bullying Michigan, and Minnesota making TCU look sort of average. We also had a titanic clash in Division II, as #1 Minnesota State-Mankato bested #3 Minnesota-Duluth 24-21, and a five-overtime game which saw a Division III team beat a Division II team as Ursinus knocked off Millersville 17-9.

And we came so, so close to Southern Utah upsetting Utah State 9-5; only a late punt return touchdown by the Aggies saved the FBS team from a humilating defeat. That's Josh Heupel's new offense, by the way...

A handful of games litter the calendar tonight, highlighted by the late-night contest between Boise State and Washington where Chris Petersen faces off against his old employer. Also of note is the first game of the day, wherein North Carolina-Charlotte takes the field for the first time as an FBS program.

Enjoy your Friday Football, and feel free to use this as your open game thread for the day. Tomorrow, Wildcat fans, things start getting real.
