A slow news Monday, but it was announced yesterday that Kansas State will build a new soccer facility.

Jevon Thomas has a new home, as he has committed to play for Seton Hall. For some reason this quote stood out to me in a big way “Well, first I felt comfortable, I knew a lot of the staff for years,” Thomas told SNY.tv. “But I was most impressed by the skill development.” I'll let each of you decide how important that quote is, and how it relates to the Kansas State coaching staff.

In a St. John news blog post, Barry Ragan writes about Dean Wade and Kade Kinnamon, two formers small Kansas high school teammates, who will now play together at the collegiate level as well.

Yesterday it was announced that Matt Green, a sophomore men's golfer was selected to play in the NCAA San Diego Men's Golf Regional. Green will compete as the seventh seed in that bracket.
