K-State Cleans Up in APR Rankings

2

We'll have a more in-depth look later, but for now here's the NCAA's announcement on today's APR report release. K-State was above 948 across the board, and that was the men's indoor track team; the outdoor track team posted a 958.

K-State improved their score from last year in every sport except men's indoor track, and received perfect marks in volleyball, men's and women's cross-country, and men's golf. Football recorded a 976, men's basketball a 980, and women's basketball a 985.

The list of schools facing sanctions due to lack of academic progress are, sadly, the usual list of suspects: under-funded HBCUs. The NCAA is still trying to figure out how to help them achieve the organization's goals on this front.
