Bring on the Podcast with FiftyShadesofGray

We brought on a new friend from our esteemed colleagues at Wide Right Natty Lite, and he's concerned about the tough road atmosphere the Cyclones will face in Manhattan Saturday as they fight for a Big 12 title.

Oh, how nice it must be to have a point guard as good as Monte Morris.

Wide Right Night Lite editor FiftyShadesofGray joins me this week to share in our celebration of K-State's big win over Kansas and discuss Iowa State's matchup with the 'Cats Saturday afternoon at Bramlage. He's worried about Thomas Gipson and a possible bounceback game from Marcus Foster, but especially after Wednesday night's surprise home loss to Baylor, it's a game the Cyclones must win to stay in the Big 12 hunt.

We also discussed the chances of Iowa State and other Big 12 teams in the NCAA tournament, as well as the befuddling collapse of Texas and what it could mean for Rick Barnes. He's in trouble, unlike Fred Hoiberg, who seems to have found a reliable formula of bringing in transfers to thrive in Ames.
