This was always supposed to be one of the road games we could count on, but after the last couple of months we know better. The Cats were only able to manage a five-point win at home back in January, and Vegas has the Frogs favored by a trey tonight.
Still, the effort was there on Saturday against the Sooners, and TCU's just not a good team despite having some talent. Further, their home-court advantage is somewhat blunted as they wind down their one-year exile to Wilkerson-Greines, the shared home facility for the schools in the Fort Worth Independent School District. It doesn't seat very many people. On the other hand, the lighting in the arena is the sort of lighting you'd see in, well, a high school gym: that is, everything is lit, not just the court. That's something to which TCU has now become accustomed, while it's a condition the Wildcats haven't experienced since Maui.
So settle in, assuming you've got the appropriate television channels, and let's hope the Cats can actually string wins together for a change. EMAW!
