There's playoffs in the air, and for everyone except for the Big 12, Sun Belt, Army, and Navy the regular season ends today. We've got you covered with all the football action, so let's get right to business.
Our morning begins with a slew of rivalry games that don't mean much in the greater scheme of things, as either both teams stink or a blowout is in order. The exceptions: Ohio State at Michigan, which will determine which team wins the Big 10 East if Michigan State falters later in the day, and Southern Miss at Louisiana Tech, which will decide CUSA-West period.
In the afternoon, Sparty hosts Penn State, and will win the Big 10 East with a win. UCLA visits USC; the winner is the Pac 12 South champion. There's also the Iron Bowl, rendered all but meaningless unless Auburn pulls another stupid upset. Our attention, of course, will mostly be fixed on a little game in Lawrence, Kansas.
Late afternoon has the Bayou Classic between Grambling and Southern, and then we roll into the dinner hour with the Egg Bowl, Florida State-Florida, LSU-A&M, Notre Dame-Stanford, and of course the biggest game of the night: Bedlam, which will decide the Big 12.
The late night schedule has four games, none of which are particularly important.
As always, our table includes all FBS games as well as all games airing on ESPN3. Today, that includes the eight first-round contests in the FCS playoffs, the most interesting of which is South Dakota State at Montana. The text below the network logos links to the streaming feed. The D2, D3, and NAIA playoffs are still consigned to home team feeds, so we're not concerning ourselves with those this week.
