Don't kid yourself. After K-State/Texas is over, this is the only important game.

Sometimes, the football gods smile on the channel-hopper. And sometimes, they just sort of smirk. Tomorrow is probably one of those days, but the truth is that a day that doesn't have compelling "don't turn your dial" games is a great day to bounce around and check on some teams you might not see otherwise.
The day opens with Kansas State at Texas, alongside not much else of major interest. Yes, unbeatens Clemson, Baylor, and Houston are all in action, as is ranked Pitt; they're all playing teams they should throttle. If you get bored around 1:00 CT, you can fire up ESPN3 and catch the first hour of a key Division II matchup as traditional power #13 North Alabama visits unbeaten #2 West Georgia.
The mid-afternoon offerings are a little better, with Tennessee at Alabama, Texas Tech at Oklahoma, and the focus of this Saturday's special FCS edition of College Gameday, #11 Richmond at #4 James Madison. A half-hour later, the surprising Washington State Cougars kick off at Arizona.
The dinner hour features Florida State at Georgia Tech, Texas A&M at Mississippi, Utah at USC, and perhaps most compelling, Western Kentucky at LSU. That could be an LSU blowout, but it could also be a game you'll want to say you saw with your own two eyes. Ohio State also visits Rutgers, but why someone decided that needed to be on ABC is beyond comprehension.
The day closes with Wyoming sacrificing themselves to Boise State, and the usual pair of Pac-12 contests. One features the last-place teams in each division, and the other will probably be another Stanford rout. But it's football, and it's late, and you'll watch it.
Unless the Royals lose tonight, forcing an ALCS game seven -- which is why you will see no evening game on FOX Sports 1. (If there's no game seven, they might opt to pick up an FSN network game, but that would mean Weber State at Northern Arizona or Troy at New Mexico State. In other words, doubtful.)
As always, all games televised on natworks available nationally in sports packs and all games on ESPN3, regardless of division, are listed, and the text beneath the network icon is the streaming link. Enjoy!
