I don't think we have any real illusions about today. As much as we'll hope for the best and be behind the Cats all the way, this is the Jayhawks. At Allen Fieldhouse. In a year when nothing seems to want to operate correctly for the Purple Pride.

Of course, that doesn't mean we can't dream. A win would put the Wildcats on a pretty easy path to finishing over .500 in conference play, and leave open the possibility of a late run to 12-6. Dicey and improbable, but still a valid option. A loss doesn't destroy hopes of an NCAA appearance, but it would leave the team with really no further margin for error. That's the painful truth of where we are at the moment.

On the bright side, this is one of two games this year where every single person on the planet who matters is in our corner. Can hope prevail? Let's... hope so.
