Bio

Position: Defensive Back

Previous College: None

Projection: Redshirt

Status: Preferred Walk-On

Da'Marrio Jackson-Smith is a preferred walk-on defensive back from Monsignor Edward Pace High School in Miami.

Longtime Kansas State fans will know him best as the son of legendary Wildcats tackler Mario Smith, who also was his high school coach for the last three years.

(Smith left his teaching post at the school in January to open an all-boys academy, TRU Prep Academy, this fall.)

I wasn't really able to find any prep statistics for Jackson-Smith, but he's a virtual lock to redshirt this season.
