Kansas State at Kansas: game time, tv, radio, streaming, odds, and more

An up and down season is probably about to trend down again. But we can hope!

If Oklahoma State can beat 'em, so can K-State. Right?

Kansas State
(13-8, 2-6 Big 12)
at (7/6) Kansas
(17-4, 5-3 Big 12)

Into the maw of despair go the Wildcats, facing a mortal enemy which has not tasted the bitter tang of defeat on its home court in 35 games. Meanwhile, our heroes have not themselves felt the thrill of victory on a conference foe's lacquered lumber in 11 attempts. Can the spells be broken? Can light and decency prevail? Or will we have to listen to that jerk at the office gloat for a month?

The game: Kansas State visits the Kansas Jayhawks in the 282nd Sunflower Showdown presented by Dillons. KU, of course, leads the series 188-93, and 86-35 in Lawrence. Bruce Weber is 2-6 against Kansas; Bill Self holds a 20-5 record against the Wildcats. Head to head, Self has beaten Weber 7 out of 10 times.

Odds: Kansas is a 12-point favorite, on a 144-point total. 78-66 Jayhawks, in that case. Strangely, however, OddsShark's computers are actually predicting a 73-69 Wildcat win. We have absolutely no idea how it's possible to get a computer drunk.

Tickets: Sold out.

Television: ESPN2 at 8:00 CT with Brent Musburger, Fran Fraschilla, and Jon Barry.

Radio: K-State Sports Network, with Wyatt Thompson and Stan Weber. (VERIFY) Also available on satellite on Sirius/XM 84, although that's the Kansas radio crew of Bob Davis and Greg Gurley; it's the final time Bob Davis will call a Sunflower Showdown at Allen Field House.

Online: Video streaming via WatchESPN. Audio streaming and live stats at Gamecenter.
