(2) Kansas

at Kansas State
(15-11, 4-9 Big 12)

Nobody really agrees with your benevolent despot about this, but just remember: if K-State wins, big deal. The Jayhawks have like two guys who remember what it's like to win at Bramlage, and that includes Perry Ellis, who also remembers what it's like to win at Ahearn. And Nichols. And Thermopylæ.

The game: Kansas State hosts the Kansas Jayhawks, hoping lightning can strike yet again. The Jayhawks lead the series 189-93. In Manhattan, it's a 75-47 Jayhawk edge. Bruce Weber is 2-7 against Kansas, and 3-8 against Bill Self. Self has a 21-5 record against the Wildcats.

Odds: KU's favored by five, with a 143 total. 74-69, in other words.

Tickets: Tickets are available for $125, $150 for chairbacks.

Television: ESPN2 at 5:00 CT with Dave Flemming and Miles Simon.

Radio: K-State Sports Network, with Wyatt Thompson and Stan Weber. Also available on satellite on Sirius/XM 84.

Online: Video streaming via WatchESPN. Audio streaming and live stats at Gamecenter.
