They're too strong, too fast. K-State has no chance. Yeah, right.

It was almost exactly two years ago when Kansas State walked onto Owen Field and shattered Oklahoma's ridiculous home winning streak. Relive it here.

Courtesy of our friends at Campus Insiders, get yourself pumped up for tonight's showdown by remembering another time when the Wildcats were written off: in Norman, September 22, 2012.

Kansas State wasn't lightly regarded coming into the game, but the prevailing wisdom was that a stacked Oklahoma with Landry Jones at quarterback was simply going to be too much. And that was almost true. A fortunate and timely sack and fumble deep in OU territory turned the game, and Collin Klein ran Bill Snyder's offense to perfection to keep the ball out of Sooner hands. Suddenly, a Wildcat team which was viewed as pretty good but not elite were on their way toward the number one ranking in the BCS.

Tonight, it's the same refrain: they're too strong, too fast for K-State's bushel of walk-ons and two-stars. They may be. They may not. We'll just have to test that theory, won't we?
