Today's Slate will be liberally laced with my utter disdain for the NFL's annual Feast of Extreme Navel-Gazing.

The team is in real danger of not even making the Big 12 tournament, and could be the first team in conference history to go from first to worst in just a single season.

The win over Wichita State appears to have restored some confidence though, so a good series against Oklahoma State this weekend could move K-State ahead of OU in the standing and into the last tournament spot.</p>
