That ol' SEC basketball fever is hard to shake.

The Wildcats make their annual trip into the Big City to give the metro fanbase a chance to see them play without having to drive for two hours. Their guests this year are their former pals from the Texas Church of Agricultural and Mechanical Sciences, who are off to a fairly decent start for a non-Kentucky SEC team.

A&M brings a pair of double-digit scorers to Kansas City in the form of Danuel House and Jalen Jones. Although they are 7-2, their resume isn't stacked with quality; their best win so far was over New Mexico, and it goes downhill from there. They've lost to both Dayton and Baylor, and those three results pretty accurately position the Aggies on the scale.

We can only hope the Wildcats show up in the first half this evening, as these continual first-half struggles followed by a furious comeback can be a little tiring. As the conference schedule looms ever closer, a solid performance (and a decent win for the resume) would be welcome.

Go Cats!
