Bowl week, coupled with a basketball team that has yet to meet pre-season expectations led to a very slow day yesterday. I've got nothing for you from yesterday, however I can promise you a read on the newest K-State commit sometime early this morning.
TB's favorite writer, Bob Lutz, offers a
old new concept for an in-season tournament where Wichita State (this is like a bad penny that won't go away), Kansas State, Missouri, and Creighton all play at the Sprint center in December.
Nino Williams was named the Big 12 men's player of the week, writes Kellis Robinett (Kansas City Star).
As we read in yesterdays slate, Semi Ojeleye is transfering. According to Kellis Robinett, (Wichita Eagle), both Kansas, and Missouri have already contacted Ojeleye. This is going to be a huge black eye on Bruce Weber and his staff if they don't do whatever they can to try and bring him to Kansas State.
Kellis Robinett has an updated article about the Terrell Clinkscales arrest.
Ken Corbitt (Topeka Capital Journal) has a list of current K-State commits. As always check out BotC's recruiting section for a write up about each of the recruits.
Matt Gasper (KSN.com) has a story about Tyler Lockett being named to the Senior Bowl roster.
Once again the attendance nationwide was down for college football, although Kansas State attendance did increase slightly.
David Ubben (FOX Sports Southwest) and friend of BotC has a different take on the Tyreek Hill saga. It's a good read and I think Ubben does a good job of capturing the overarching emotion when reading/hearing about Tyreek Hill situation.
