Must Reads
Well, it's about that time. All our nerves are shot to hell already, and it's not even gametime yet. Fate might be handing the Wildcats opportunity, as Auburn is fighting for their lives against Texas A&M. An Auburn loss almost certainly means the winner of tonight's game will be no worse than fifth in the coming week's College Football Playoff ranking. Mitch Holthus would tell you exactly how big a game this is.
Kansas State has caught a couple of lucky breaks; B.J. Catalon is out, and TCU's receiving corps is a bit dinged up. Although we never want to be happy about injuries to any player, when they arise and present an opportunity you have to capitalize. And thus mist the 'Cats this evening if they want to keep their dreams alive for 2014.
Aside from playoff possibilities, a win tonight would all but ensure that, at worst, the Baylor game will decide the Big 12 champion; even a loss to West Virginia next week wouldn't alter that, assuming a win over Kansas. It's all on the line tonight.
So settle in, acquire whatever substance you need to avoid coronary distress or bursts of irrational violence, and join us to discuss this critical test.
GO CATS!
