It's a major week for college football, featuring a bevy of important tilts between ranked teams which will shake up the playoff picture. The most important game of the week involves the Kansas State Wildcats, although certain media outlets would like you to believe that perhaps an SEC or Big 10 game has more import. Shame when the narrative depends on the network a game's airing on, isn't it?
Tonight's game isn't all that appealing, but given Thursday night's reputation for chaos you never know what will happen. Friday sees a pair of matchups which aren't compelling, but are certainly interesting in an academic sense.
Saturday's early slate includes the battle for Floyd of Rosedale and the absolute end of one Big 12 team's already slim playoff hopes. Mid-afternoon features the chance to see Auburn stick it to Chocopockets as well as a massive non-conference clash out in the desert. And Saturday night we've got the battle for Big 10 supremacy and the annual Alabama-LSU dustup going up against K-State/TCU. The day gets capped off with the late game from the west coast, where Oregon hopes to hold on to playoff position as they visit the pesky and determined Utes.
Oh, and we have this nifty new visually sexy schedule for you to gaze upon, courtesy of the wonderful folks at headquarters. Enjoy!
