Last night saw a fantastic opening 20 minutes followed by a not-so fantastic, but still adequate, second half. That sort of thing won't cut it tonight as the Wildcats go up against the third-ranked team in the country.

This is exactly the sort of game which can turn into an embarrassing blowout if some of K-State's most glaring deficiencies become a trend. The Wildcats will have to count on tonight not being one of those nights where passes fly into the ether, where shots completely miss the rigging, and where bad decisions to drive the lane seem epidemic.

Of course, that sounds woefully pessimistic. The good news is that when this team is on its game, Arizona is a beatable opponent. But is this iteration of K-State basketball prepared yet for that sort of performance?

Tonight, we find out. Go Cats!
