Must Reads
Last year, the women suffered through a long, terrible slog and the men started off their season with a stunning home loss to Southern Utah's conference-mates Northern Colorado. Tonight, we'll hope that things get off to a good start for both squads. K-State is expected to start Jevon Thomas, Marcus Foster, Justin Edwards, Stephen Hurt, and Thomas Gipson against the T-Birds. Southern Utah is paced by Trey Kennedy, their leading returning scorer from last year with 9.5 PPG.
Before the men's game, the women will face off against Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, who finished 11-19 last year. The game will mark Jeff Mittie's regular-season deput as coach of the Wildcats, and is available on KState-HD.tv. Check our How to Watch post for all the details.
It's been a long seven months since the Wildcats officially took the floor. Let's get the Octagon rocking! GO CATS!
