The Lady Cats sit on a two-game winning streak after a brutal start to the season, but face the toughest test of the season thus far tonight.
The Opposition
The Opposition
The game: Kansas State (8-9, 2-4) visits Baylor Bears (14-3, 4-1, 12/7). Baylor has a commanding lead in the series, winning 22 games against 9 losses. 17 games ago, K-State led the series 9-5, and you can do the math from there. The Lady Cats last win over the Bears was on Jan. 27, 2004, in Manhattan; they already lost to the Bears by 29 at Bramlage three weeks ago. Obviously, the outlook is grim.
Saturday's win over Iowa State was the 850th win in program history, making K-State one of only 16 Division I programs in the nation to reach that milestone.
Tipoff: 7pm CT at Ferrell Center (10,284) in Waco, Texas.
Television: not televised.
Radio: K-State Sports Network, with Brian Smoller and Claire Coggins.
Online: There's also no video streaming. Audio streaming via K-State All-Access, live stats via Gametracker.
As usual, there will be no game thread as the game isn't televised. If you're listening, feel free to discuss here.
