The Wildcats embark on a dangerous road trip, but for once the reward probably outweighs the risk.

The game: Kansas State (14-4, 4-1, 22/ARV) visits Texas (14-4, 3-2, ARV/ARV). K-State leads the series 16-10. The Cats took all five meetings prior to the formation of the Big 12, then went 4-7 against the Longhorns in the Dark Years before rebounding to go 7-3 in the last ten meetings. The series is deadlocked at six wins apiece in Austin; the Wildcats swept Texas last year, including a win in the Big 12 Tournament, and Bruce Weber is 3-1 all-time against the Horns. Interesting fact: Thomas Gipson's dad played for Texas for a year before transferring to Sam Houston State.

Odds: Texas is a 4-point favorite.

Tipoff: 6pm CT at Frank Erwin Center (16,755) in Austin, Texas.

Tickets: $7-$50 through the Texas box office.

Television: ESPN2, with Dave Flemming on play-by-play and Miles Simon on color.

Radio: K-State Sports Network (also Sirius 134/XM 191), with Wyatt Thompson and Stan Weber.

Online: Video streaming via ESPN3, Audio streaming via K-State All-Access, live stats via Gametracker.

For the first play day in awhile, there's no women's game; the ladies visit Waco tomorrow night to try and keep their streak alive.
