This is it, kids. Two teams just on the outside of the playoff hunt seeking a statement win which might well put them inside the gate. Saturday night, nationwide on FOX, Fort Worth will be rocking.
The Opposition
The Opposition
The game: Kansas State (7-1, 5-0, 7/9/9) visits the Texas Christian Horned Frogs (7-1, 4-1, 6/7/7). K-State leads the series 4-3, and has won both meetings since TCU joined the Big 12, prior to which the teams had not met since before Snyder took over the team. The first of those two wins was K-State's first-ever win in Fort Worth, having lost both pre-Snyder tussles at Amon Carter.
Odds: The game opened with TCU as a six-point favorite, and it's basically stuck there ever since.
Kickoff: Saturday, November 8 at 6:30pm CT, Amon G. Carter Stadium (45,000) in Fort Worth, Texas.
Tickets: Via TCU's ticket office, there are still s small handful of $60 seats on either end of the upper deck on the TCU side of the field. On the secondary market, you can find seats all over the place: upper-deck ducats as low as $50, end-zone corner seats on the K-State side for $90, second-level seats on the K-State sideline for $100. But if you go, wear purple or white, because they're having themselves a blackout.
Television: National broadcast on FOX with Gus Johnson, Charles Davis, and Molly McGrath.
Radio: K-State Sports Network, with Wyatt Thompson, Stan Weber, and Matt Walters; either K-State's or TCU's feed will be available on Sirius/XM 91. If you're in Dallas you can catch the game on WBAP 820 AM or KTCU 88.7 FM with Brian Estridge, John Danton, and Landry Burdine.
Online: FOX Sports GO; free audio streaming via KStateHD.tv. K-State Gameday begins at 5:40pm, with Bruce Haertl. Live stats via Gametracker.
