Second Half Thread: Kansas State 21, Oklahoma 17

Who'd lead at the half was a big part of today's narrative. Well, it's K-State, so batten down the hatches.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

What a crazy first half. We had a Sooner ejected for targeting, a patented Glenn Gronkowski score off a POP pass, a Danzel McDaniel one-yard pick-six after a punt was downed at the one, an insane catch by Tyler Lockett on a long toss by Jake Waters, a pretty (or ugly, if you're EMAW) Sterling Shepard touchdown catch, and Michael Hunnicutt actually missed a field goal.

Upshot: K-State takes its 42-game winning streak when leading at the half into the locker room, as they lead Oklahoma 21-17. The Wildcats will get the ball to open the second half, so a touchdown drive and an 11-point lead would be a good thing, right?

So far, the K-State offensive line has done a good job of pass protection, and after a shaky start Oklahoma's rushing attack has been thwarted. Trevor Knight has been hitting passes, though, so some halftime adjustments are in order.

This is your open thread for the second half.
