BracketCat breaks down the depth chart by position group to see what has changed since the Texas Tech game.

Will Geary has been rocketing up the depth chart these past few weeks and now appears he might be a four-year starter for us.

By way of analysis, I'll hit the high points for each major position grouping. There were just a few minor changes to the official depth chart this week, so I took the opportunity to continue making more minor adjustments of my own.

Offense

There were no changes. Our offense, such as it is, appears set, barring future injuries.

Defense

All the action this week was on the defensive line. Bill Snyder has amended the official depth chart to reflect that Geary has moved into co-starting status with Coleman, so I adjusted things there to reflect that new reality.

Also, I restored the "OR" between Roberts and Seiwert because the latter has seen more playing time than the former or Hood in the past two games.

I have left the linebacking corps and secondary the same for now. The Oklahoma game will tell us a lot about the status of both Green and Johnson, and I will amend from there.

Special Teams

There also were no changes here. But with this unit this year, anything can change rapidly in a week, so stay tuned.
