Second verse, same as the first -- mostly. The AP Poll is out, and there's not much difference from the coaches' rankings. Mississippi State again took over first place (in commanding fashion, grabbing more first-place votes than Florida State had last week). Kansas State is 14th in both polls now, moving up three spots from last week's placement in the AP.
Both polls feature the same 25 squads this week, with some slight differences. Whereas Florida State's lead over Mississippi in the coaches' poll is dominant, the Seminoles only avoided falling to #3 in the AP by a mere two points.
