#23 Cre Moore |
Position: Defensive Back Previous College: None Projection: Third-String Status: On Scholarship |
Cre Ahmani Moore (b. June 10, 1993) is a young cornerback who developed during a redshirt season and will compete for playing time in 2014. Our scholarship situation at corner is such that he might end up second-string.
Kansas State coaches found Moore at Broken Arrow High School in the Tulsa suburbs, playing for head coach Steve Spauital. He had interest from Arkansas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, as well as several smaller schools.
Moore was named to the Oklahoma Top 11 All-State team as a senior and was a 2012 All-State Class 6A selection at cornerback by The Daily Oklahoman. You can watch his highlights here.
A three-year starter who recorded four interceptions and 100 tackles in his final two years, Moore helped Broken Arrow to earn a runner-up finish in the 6A State championship game in 2011.
Moore also was a standout in track and field who helped to set a school record in the 4x100 relay. Rivals.com listed him as a three-star player and the No. 14 player in the state of Oklahoma in 2012.
