Jason Michael Lierz (b. Nov. 28, 1993) did not see any game action in 2013 after redshirting in 2012 at Hutchinson Community College under head coach Rion Rhodes.
Lierz prepped under head coach Joe Schartz at Manhattan High School, where he helped to lead the Indians to a 10-1 record in 2011, when they were league, district and regional champions.
I really know nothing else about him besides that. Maybe one of our Manhattan native readers can shed some more light on his high school career or his playing potential? Until then, he looks like a career scout-teamer to me.
