Chance Taylor Allen (Jan. 16, 1995) is a young left guard prospect who was the first commitment in the class of 2013 and used the 2013 season to develop with a redshirt. He has changed numbers from No. 71 to No. 79.
Allen attended Collins High School in Klein, Texas. Yes, a kid at Klein Collins committed to a team quarterbacked at the time by Collin Klein. Perhaps it is an omen.
A two-year letterman and two-year starter for coach Drew Svoboda, Allen helped Collins to back-to-back district runner-up finishes and was an all-state honorable mention selection as a senior. Watch his highlights here.
Despite persistent rumors based on a certain tweet that Allen is transferring, I included him in this countdown because he has not been removed from the official roster yet. Hopefully, he decides to stick around.
