5. That's how many automatic bids will still be left after today, when 14 teams will earn their invitations to the NCAA Tournament. There are a few stories to keep an eye on, too.

Three teams are openly fighting for their position atop the bracket. Kentucky's a lock for the top seed regardless of what happens to them today, but Villanova, Arizona, and Wisconsin will be trying to make a case that they're superior to Duke and Virginia, whose regular seasons crashed out yesterday.

Some other teams are looking for either their first NCAA Tournament bid ever - Stony Brook, Cal-Irvine and Buffalo -- or their first bid in a long, long time. For Yale, a win over Harvard would give the Elis their first trip since 1962. Seattle, who defeated K-State in the 1958 Final Four, is seeking a win over New Mexico State to earn their first trip since 1968. And then there's Hawai'i, playing for an NCAA bid after firing their coach in October.
