We're brief on the commentary here because we're rushed for time. Suffice it to say that it's time to brave the depths of hell: Ames.

The game: Kansas State visits the Iowa State Cyclones. K-State leads the overall series 136-82, but only 21-19 in Big 12 play. In Ames, K-State holds a 50-47 edge. Bruce Weber is 3-3 all-time against the Clones, but 0-2 in Ames; Fred Hoiberg holds a 6-5 edge over the Wildcats, 4-2 at home. Against one another? Hoiberg's bested Weber in three of their five meetings.

Odds: Iowa State is a 10-point favorite.
