College Football Viewing Guide and Open Thread: Week 3

This is your BOTC home for college football this weekend. K-State's open thread will be posted one hour before kickoff.

Now this is more like it.

After a couple weeks of appetizers, we get into some really good college football matchups. Well, K-State doesn't, but a lot of other teams do. SB Nation's excellent weekend guide is here. I'll be watching Nebraska/UCLA and Alabama/Texas A&M as much as possible. For you degenerate gamblers, here are SB Nation's weekly picks, as well as Bill Connelly's F+ picks.

K-State's open thread will go live one hour before kickoff. The rest of the Big 12 action is below.

West Virginia vs. Georgia State, Morgantown, W.Va., 11:00 a.m., Mountaineer Network: WTF?

Oklahoma vs. Tulsa, Norman, Okla., 11:00 a.m., ABC: Iowa State should be a breeze if the Sooners can take care of the Golden Hurricane (ALL THE PUNS).

Iowa State vs. Iowa, Ames, Iowa, 5:00 p.m., FS1: Watching this game could cause brain damage.

KU at Rice, Houston, Texas, 6:30 p.m., CBSSN: When Texas plays at Rice, they play at Reliant Stadium. When KU plays at Rice, they're a road underdog.

Oklahoma State vs. Lamar, Stillwater, Okla., 6:30 p.m., FSN: As un-subtle as OSU is about its non-conference aims (CROOT TX KTHXBAI), they may as well have played this game down in the Golden Triangle.

Texas vs. Ole Miss, Austin, Texas, 7:00 p.m., LHN: Case McCoy is starting this game at quarterback and Greg Robinson is coordinating Texas' defense. That's probably all you need to know.
