Reid Najvar (b. July 26, 1994) is an incoming offensive lineman who is likely to redshirt in 2013 to develop our depth.

A first-team all-district pick as a senior at Klein Oak High School, Najvar was named to The Houston Chronicle's 2012 Top 100 football recruits, voted a team captain as a senior and on the 2012 preseason All-Greater Houston first team.

Najvar's brother, Jordan, is a senior tight end at Baylor. Reid himself projects as a right guard for us, which means it could be a while before he plays since he'll be backing up sophomore Boston Stiverson. Watch Reid's highlights here.
