Joseph Kyle Hubener (b. May 21, 1993) is a walk-on quarterback from Cheney High School, where he was a two-year letter-winner for the Cardinals under head coach Dustin McEwan. He redshirted in 2012.
Hubener played quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back, and also was a four-year letterman in basketball.
He was a member of the honor roll, won the president's education award, volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and was a basketball and soccer recreational coach.
In the spring game, Hubener rushed six times for 14 yards and completed 2 of 6 passes with an interception for the White team. He also fumbled. Kody Cook looked better, in my opinion, so I have Hubener on the scout team.
