Dylan Myles Schellenberg (b. Oct. 28, 1991) is a walk-on safety from Butler who redshirted in 2012. He started at safety for the White team in the 2013 spring game, and collected one solo tackle and one assisted tackle.
Schellenberg also had the same amount of tackles for the Purple team in relief time, as well as an assisted tackle for loss and a pass breakup. He originally hails from Wichita, but attended Maize High School as a prep player.
His statistics in 2011 were decent for JUCO. He had 59 total tackles (46 solo, 13 assisted), three tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two pass breakups and three interceptions (with one pick-six).
Schellenberg was a unanimous first-team All-AV-CTL selection in high school and was named Maize's football MVP.
At Butler, he was named to the All-Jayhawk Conference second team, was Defensive Player of the Week after the game against Navarro Junior College and their first regional game, and was named a "top five" defensive player.
