Position: Linebacker

Previous College: None

Projection: Second-String

Status: On Scholarship

Charmeachealle Moore (b. Jan. 30, 1993) was the only scholarship linebacker in K-State's 2011 class, but he's a very promising specimen who hails from the powerhouse Dallas Skyline program.

Linebacker wasn't a huge need in that class, so the coaches had the luxury of taking only the guy(s) they really wanted. They chose Moore. That should tell us something. So should these highlights. And these.

Luckily, our depth at the position allowed Moore time to grayshirt and adapt to college. I correctly predicted last year that Moore would play as a true freshman in 2012. In 10 games, he tallied four tackles and forced a fumble.

Moore collected 63 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, eight sacks, 21 hurries and a blocked field goal in 2010. He helped to lead the Raiders to a 9-3 overall record (7-0 league) that year.

A two-time all-district pick, Moore was named one of the Top 100 players in Texas. I predict that he will join high school teammate Marquel Bryant in the two-deep. They are the first fruits of a renewed recruiting effort in Dallas.
