I'm not quite sure what happened with this one, because I thought I had it set to publish earlier. Guess I need a few more days to knock off all the blogging rust, huh?
Anyway, I will be using the holiday weekend to work ahead a bit on these, so they should be showing up around 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. most days if I accomplish that.

Dakorey Johnson |
Position: Linebacker Previous College: Trinity Valley (Texas) Community College Projection: Second-String Status: On Scholarship |
Dakorey Johnson is the younger brother of star K-State wide receiver Quincy Morgan. Johnson tallied 82 tackles, including seven tackles for loss, and five sacks in his two seasons at Trinity Valley Community College.
He was named a second-team All-District 11-5A linebacker as a senior in 2009 at Mesquite North High School.
It's my humble opinion that we are counting on Johnson to be in at least the two-deep this fall, given that he probably will be the most athletic linebacker we have on the roster who's older than a freshman.
That's even more imperative after we bombed on the recruitments of Martrell Spaight and De'Vondre Campbell (damn you, Arkansas and Minnesota).
The problem is, Johnson isn't yet on campus. He's supposed to show up later this month, but these late JUCO arrivals always are a cause for concern.
