Yup, it's another repeat post. I way overestimated what number Johnson would be wearing, so here's Take 2, updated with his recent addition to the online roster.

#32 Dakorey Johnson |
Position: Linebacker Previous College: Trinity Valley (Texas) Community College Projection: Second-String Status: On Scholarship |
Dakorey Johnson is the younger brother of star K-State wide receiver Quincy Morgan. Johnson tallied 82 tackles, including seven tackles for loss, and five sacks in his two seasons at Trinity Valley Community College.
He was named a second-team All-District 11-5A linebacker as a senior in 2009 at Mesquite North High School.
It's my humble opinion that we are counting on Johnson to be in at least the two-deep this fall, given that he probably will be the most athletic linebacker we have on the roster who's older than a freshman.
That's even more imperative after we bombed on the recruitments of Martrell Spaight and De'Vondre Campbell (damn you, Arkansas and Minnesota). The problem is, Johnson isn't yet on campus.
Originally, he was supposed to show up in July, but now it's looking more like August. Unlike Chris Brown, Johnson at least was added to the online roster already, which means the coaches expect him to make it.
Not that it means much, mind you — Marquez Clark says "Hi." Late JUCO arrivals always are a cause for concern.
