OK, so this is quite a bit later than usual for a countdown debut. My apologies. I had a busy June.
Heck, I had a busy 2013. I got married May 24 and it's been a bit of a whirlwind ever since. For that matter, it was a whirlwind for several months before that, too.
But things finally are calming down a little, so here we go. My plan is to catch up by doubling up, so look for Nos. 59 and 99 today, and so forth, until just 19 days are left until kickoff on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013.

#59 Aaron Norris |
Position: Linebacker Previous College: None Projection: Special Teams Status: Walk-On |
Aaron James Norris (b. Feb. 13, 1993) was a walk-on fullback from Littleton, Colo.
The bulk of his high school experience was on the defensive side, however. Thus, his position change to linebacker during the 2012 season comes as no surprise.
Norris redshirted in 2011 to add weight and learn the ropes, but his position change likely set him back a little, so he didn't log much playing time in 2012.
I like reading that he lettered three years in wrestling, won a regional championship in 2010 and was first-team all-conference in the sport in early 2011. Wrestlers make bad-ass football players, in my humble opinion.
Norris will be part of the scout team this year, and perhaps special teams as well, but once you get past the two-deep, there is playing time available at reserve linebacker. I wouldn't rule him out.
