How much is too much? Is it skill or luck when you get have a job with a big paycheck? How much direction does one individual provide to an organization?

The Assistant Director of Athletics Communication sounds like a fun job, unfortunately I have no idea how to use QuarkXPress. Wonder if they would mind if I used LaTEX instead? Glad to see this and hopefully the individual hired will do a most excellent job.
