Finally, it comes down to this. Arkansas finally found their bats today, bludgeoning Bryant to eliminate the Bulldogs and advance to the Manhattan Regional Final. K-State can advance to the Super-Regional with a win tonight, while a loss means a rematch with the Razorbacks tomorrow. Because of pitching matchups, let's just say we'd really rather win tonight; Arkansas might go with Ryne Stanek tomorrow on two days' rest, and we probably don't want any part of that.
Expected to start for the Wildcats tonight is freshman Blake McFadden (6-2, 4.04). Tyler Wright (1-1, 0.00 in three starts) is expected to start for Arkansas. And guess what? IT'S ON TELEVISION. WOOHOO!
Let's get this done now. No sense giving the Hogs an opening, and we can hope they used up all their offense this afternoon.
