Football:

Tyler Lockett received the fifth Big 12 Player of the Week award of his career yesterday, being so named for his special teams play so they could give Clint Chelf the offensive player of the week award. (I'm not complaining.)

Kellis Robinett points out in his K-State notebook that if both Oklahoma State and Baylor go a'-BCSin', the Holiday Bowl becomes the Big 12's last destination. We've also got his Big 12 notebook, full of Big 12ey things.

After missing the Sooners' game against K-State due to suspension, Damien Williams has been kicked off the team. I guess Bob Stoops figured that if Brennan Clay can run for two bills on the Wildcats, they didn't need Williams after all. This, of course, led to some irate tweets from former Sooners.

K-State Sports Extra checks in on Arthur Brown. No word on whether can be cloned in time for next season.

Basketball:

Here's Thomas Gipson going down a water slide in Puerto Rico. Now, Big Gip actually came to play this weekend, but I think I now understand why the team completely tanked it.

This week:

Wednesday, WVB at TCU
Thursday, WBB vs SMU in the Bahamas; hope they're not having FUN
Friday, WBB vs Virginia or Tennessee in the Bahamas
Saturday, FB at KU, WVB vs Iowa State at Ahearn
Sunday, MBB vs Central Arkansas at Bramlage
