K-State Slate: 11.19.13

Oklahoma papers are starting to talk about the Wildcats. Let's see what they have to say.

It's not a slow day, per se, but it is sort of light.

Football:

Kellis Robinett's early-week preview of the OU game. Hey, Cats are favored by four points!

The Oklahoman talks about how K-State held Baylor under 40. Which, y'know, nobody else has done.

The Tulsa World's also looking into the winning streak.

K-State's preparing to stop the Sooners on the ground, says Ken Corbitt. Also, apparently the officials were already on the ball with the illegal equipment penalty before Bill started jawing at them.

Stoops isn't naming his starting quarterback. Well, okay.

Sunflower Showdown is set for 11am.

Basketball:

Corbitt's also got some words about Marcus Foster.

The seniors got their act together Sunday.

Miscellanous:

Pittsburg State missed the playoffs, but they'll be in Excelsior Springs in two weeks for the Mineral Water Bowl against Southwest Minnesota State. The other annual local D-II bowl game, the Kanza Bowl, was cancelled earlier this year due to funding difficulties.
