There was a football game, and we're not going to discuss it today. So here's the other news.

The intern's still trying to communicate through a plug of solidified maple syrup. Today's slate is hereby declared a football-free zone. With that in mind, here now the news:

Volleyball:

The Lady Cats finally got a conference win under their belt, dispatching our purple siblings in five sets.

Cross-Country:

Both the men and women came in third place at the Rim Rock Invitational down the river.

Salina:

K-State is making plans to build a "bulk solids innovation center" in Salina, and the FAA has chosen KSU-Salina to test certification standards for small unmanned aircraft systems.
