As of this morning on statsheet.com, K-State only dropped 6 points in RPI, so the Iowa State and Kansas losses were not that bad, although any loss is not good.
Lamar, N FL, Delaware, UMKC and SD continue to not win and drop in RPI. Florida won but dropped in RPI.
N Dakota, USC-Upstate, George Washington, Gonzaga, and Texas Southern all won and moved up in RPI, while Michigan won and stayed at 5.
The Big XII race appears as Kansas, then Baylor, followed by Iowa State, Kansas State and Oklahoma. OK-State is not that far behind the top 5 but WVU, Tech, Texas and TCU are battling for the bottom spots in the league.
For K-State to win the conference, every game is a must win at this point.
The bracket matrix had K-State at a 6, with Iowa State at a 12 and KU as a 1. I'd expect our ranking in this unofficial poll to drop a couple of spots after this week.
As I mentioned the Cats need to work on some small things to win games. As of this morning K-State ranks last in the Big XII and 298th in the country in rebounds for conference games. Last year the Cats were 3rd in the conference and 85th nationally. Looking at all games, the Cats are 6th in the conference and 124th nationally, while last year the Cats were 5th in the conference and 76th nationally when considering all games.
