K-State Football

K-State overcame a slow start to roll to a 51-9 win over Missouri State on Saturday in Manhattan.

It was less than impressive, but K-State's defense didn't allow a touchdown against the Bears. More pressure on the quarterback is needed going forward.

That's all well and good, but Bill Snyder wants more three-and-outs from his defense.

Ty Zimmerman returned to the field after an early injury on Saturday.

Bill Snyder and his staff got a raise recently. Snyder's still the best bargain in college football.

With Missouri State behind them, K-State can focus on Miami, who visits Manhattan next weekend.

Big 12 Conference

A weak schedule got the Big 12 off to a 9-0 start on the first week of the season. Only Texas Christian was idle.

K-State Golf

Former K-State golfer Robert Streb won the Web.com Tour's Mylan Classic in Pennsylvania this weekend. With the win, Streb's yearly earnings will be enough to ensure his spot on the PGA Tour next season. Congratulations and best of luck to Robert!

K-State Volleyball

The Wildcats swept Denver, host Creighton and Syracuse this weekend in Omaha at the Bluejay Invitational. K-State returns to Ahearn Fieldhouse this week for a series of matches.
