Weekly Poll, week 2 Miami @ K-State

I didn't think there was a need for a weekly poll last week, as the preseason poll was overwhelming in predicting the Cats would win. Despite a first half that indicated Cosh2.0 defense, the Cats did win by a large margin. After the jump, the preseason poll tabulation, Big XII stats for week 1 and the poll.

The poll summary:

date Opponent Preseason
Poll
Result Weekly Poll
Win Lose L > 7 L ≤ 7 Tie W ≤ 7 W > 7
9/1/12 6p CDT Missouri State 123 5 W 9-51 - - - - -
9/8/12 11a CDT Miami 113 15
9/15/12 6p CDT N Texas 123 5
9/22/12 @Oklahoma 26 35
10/6/12 Kansas 61 0
10/13/12 @Iowa State
59 2
10/20/12 @West Virginia

10/27/12 Texas Tech

11/03/12 Oklahoma State
54 3
11/10/12 @Texas Christian
47 6
11/17/12 @Baylor
46 3
12/01/12 Texas 46 3

The preseason polls indicate the Cats will finish with a record of 10-2 with losses on the road to WVU and OU. The weekly polls last year were not as accurate as the preseason polls, it would be interesting to track the voting by 'primary' team during the course of the season.
